El Alamein is the first seasonal Pickl location. We went through the process of value engineering Pickl fixtures and finishes, to suit the budget of a seasonal site, without losing the essence of the brand. With access to the beach, we worked with Pickl to design furniture that reflected a more casual eating experience, focusing on low tables and seating, paired back materials and abundant planting.

Further along the coast, we developed two seasonal modular Pickl containers. The containers led to an entirely different ordering and pick up experience for customers, focusing on more of a ‘food truck style’ system. This led to a fun challenge for our interior team - capturing the existing brand character and applying it to a smaller space with only outdoor seating. Positioned on a residential beach front, we played with cladding materials and branding to create an attention-grabbing beachside stop. The furniture we designed for El Alamein was flowed through to both containers with the same relaxed aesthetic and functionality.
