The design plays with luxury in an unexpected way, where, as a patron, you are encouraged to explore the space with a sense of discovery and delight.

Obscured behind the voluminous floor to ceiling metallic curtains, intrigue and drama greet you upon entering Rare. A grand burgundy Rosso Levanto marble bar crowned with an elegant, fluted glass gantry begs for your attention, asserting itself without seeking to overwhelm.
This area is informal and lively. A built in DJ booth stands by to activate the space from day to dusk transforming Rare before diner’s curious eyes. Linked via a deep red tiled pass, the energy radiating from the kitchen spills into the main dining room for guests to behold. Intimate nooks stemming from the double height restaurant cater towards those seeking formal and alfresco dining.
Rare lives outside of trends. The contrast of raw and luxurious materials, paired with luscious plants and blush pink drapery creates excitement and balance that remains sympathetic to the building’s distinctive industrial carcass. Dark walnut panelling and pigmented limewash plaster enhance the raw concrete walls which collectively serve as the canvas for a series of striking artworks. Mid-century and industrial lights complement the deep hues of the perfectly poised acoustic aluminium waffle ceiling enhancing the warming ambience that resonates throughout.
