The team behind Pickl have set their sights on disrupting more than just the burger market. Next in their line of sight was the king of chicken, Colonel Sanders himself. Bonbird is here to put the cat amongst the (fried) chickens.

Nestled alongside their Pickl counterpart in the heart of Dubai’s City Walk, Bonbird’s inaugural store is brought to life through punchy red branding, striking graphics and an identity that taps into the inherent attitude of fried chicken and the hey-day of American fast-food diners.

BONBIRD was born of a simple idea; Make Chicken Great Again.

Tasked solely with branding and interior artwork, we started with a name that evokes joy, building an identity and world that constantly reinforces the name.

Leading the charge at the heart of the brand is the mascot - 'loveheartchickenfeel' who wants to put the love back into bone-in chicken.

Illuminated light boxes featuring the signature mascot beautifully complement the hand-painted red typography applied over the regimented white tiled interior. This conscious tongue-in-cheek language reverberates in every corner of the store with a selection of posters that help to create an identify fit for the modern audience.
